The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to present the Dorothy Lincoln Smith Voice Competition for classical vocalists, ages 23 – 31. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to winners.

2024 National Awards Competition in Musical Theatre
The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to announce the 2024 National Awards Competition in Musical Theatre on May 16-19, 2024 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Contestants will first compete at the chapter level, then the winners of each regional competition will travel to Illinois to compete at the National level.

The 2024 Shirley Rabb Winston Classical Voice Scholarship
The National Society of Arts and Letters invited performers to apply for the 2024 Shirley Rabb Winston Scholarship in Classical Voice. $16,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Applications were due to chapters by February 1, 2024 and winners will be announced upon selection.
The 2024 Naomi Rabb Winston Visual Art Scholarship Application
The National Society of Arts and Letters invited artists to apply for the 2024 Naomi Rabb Winston Scholarship in Two-Dimensional Art. $16,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Applications were due to chapters by February 1, 2024.

Alycya Thomas, Honorable Mention, 2023 NSAL National Drama Competition, $1,000 Prize
Alycya Thomas, born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.A few of her credits as an actress are Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in Next to Normal and Squeak in The Color Purple. In the 2023 NSAL National Drama Competition Alycya performed Act 3, Scene 2, from As You Like It by William Shakespeare; Act 2, Scene 1, from Fences by August Wilson; and Act 2, Scene 1, from Appropriation by Brandon-Jacobs Jenkins. Alycya told us that she was truly thankful for the opportunity to represent our chapter and showcase her talent in the national drama competition.
